When she spoke of the sun crashing to the earth and into stars, it reminded me that I was still alive. The remembrance of life came as I recalled the stardust tickling my skin and the moon beams electrifying my heart. Now the glow whispers to me by way of the drafts in my window.

“Soon,” I tell it. And soon I’ll believe it.”
